Hello! I’m a designer based in Columbus, Ohio. Motivated by my curiosity about how and why things work, I build products and experiences that aim to enhance people’s lives in a delightful way.
I come from the world of architecture, accruing over twelve years of professional experience designing, teaching, managing large teams, engaging clients, and successfully delivering built projects. During my time in the profession, I learned to think across scales, synthesize user needs to come up with creative solutions, and shepherd projects from concept to realization. I begin each project with an open mind, eager to engage end users in order to learn about their needs, pain points, and motivations. Through rapid ideation I explore alternative approaches which lead toward crafting and refining an elegant solution that balances user needs, business goals, and technical challenges.
Outside of design I get my fix for exploring how things go together through cooking, trying out new recipes, craft beer, and cocktails. I enjoy working with my hands which usually entails fixing things around the house, but I also love to sketch and have experience designing and building furniture.
